Waste transfer note
Legal document confirming licensed disposal of construction waste. Required as part of the post-removal paperwork pack.
Under UK Environmental Protection Act 1990, anyone disposing of construction waste must use a licensed waste carrier and keep a transfer note documenting the chain of custody.
For spray foam removal, the note confirms the foam was disposed of through legal channels rather than fly-tipped.
Underwriters and surveyors expect to see this in the paperwork pack.
