It looks like dense expanding foam, you can compress it with a hand, and it crumbles in lumps when you cut it back. Open-cell removal is faster than closed-cell — typically two days for a 3-bed semi. We strip every piece down to bare timber, photograph the underside for the lender pack, and dispose under licensed waste transfer. Open-cell removal across West Yorkshire runs £50-60 per m² of foam coverage, with paperwork pack and skip included.
